About Us

Delights of Christmas was founded in 2009 when owner Kelle McCarty learned about the holiday lighting industry and felt he could create a unique business that prides itself on attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for his community. From there, Kelle and his brother Ryan McCarty, who has an electrical degree, set out to create a company they could be proud of. Over the years they have had the privilege of partnering with some of San Diego’s largest and most well represented lighting installations, like Manchester Financial Mr. A’s Building, the San Diego Safari Park, Navy Medical Center, and numerous communities, to name a few. We are also still very proud of the roots of our business which lies in the families and residential homes. To this day our company leaders instill a sense of pride, knowledge, and thoughtfulness into all those who work with us and for us. Thus creating a spirit of family not only within the company but also with our clients. We hope to be able to meet you soon, and welcome you into the Delights of Christmas Family.

Meet the Team


Founder and Co-Owner

Having graduated from Penn State with a degree in Operations and Information Systems Management, Kelle’s began his career in aerospace manufacturing. After learning about the holiday lighting industry in 2008 Kelle decided he was ready to start his own business. What started as primarily a residential holiday lighting business has now grown into a year round operation that works with some of the counties most notable commercial lighting projects. As one of the leaders of the company, Kelle brings a unique eye for design, forward thinking ideas, and warmth to both our clients and our team.


Founder and Co-Owner

Prior to getting his degree as an Electrician, Ryan proudly served as a ground mechanic in the United States Marine Corp. Ryan is incredibly detail oriented and meticulous in execution, which is why he is a great match for many of our large commercial partners. Not only does Ryan’s knowledge in the industry go unmatched but his personal touches and friendliness make him an incredible leader to our team and partner to our clients.


Client Management, Interior Design & Installation

 Eryn received her degree in Communications from California State University of Long Beach. Having spent the majority of her career working in client management and sales in Marketing, she became part of the team in 2015 to assist with growing and managing residential clients. After working with the team for two years, she helped to create and grow our Interior Design Team. Eryn embodies the holiday spirit and goes above and beyond to bring that joy to both the clients she works with and our team.


Interior Design and Installation

Meryl Hamilton received her degree in Interior Design from Philadelphia University. In 2015, Meryl relocated from New York to San Diego where she immediately started working as a design & installation specialist with our team. She has an incredible eye for both style and detail and goes above and beyond to help work with both our commercial and residential clients in executing their perfect holiday decor.


Commercial Client Management and Business Development

 Alex received a BA in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont, and his Masters in Business Administration from SDSU. Alex has spent the majority of his career in client strategy and development. He joined our team in 2018 and has since worked to cultivate our larger commercial clients. Alex is extremely detail oriented, and knowledgeable which makes him a great help to both old and new clients in creating their dream holiday designs.


Electrician, Lead Lighting Technician

 Joe is a skilled and trained electrician who has worked in construction and development throughout his career. Joe came to our team in 2016 working in residential installation. He quickly became an integral part of our team, working with us year round to assist with the other arm of our business that does event and permanent lighting work.


Lead Lighting Technician

Daniel is the newest member of the Delights of Christmas Team. Coming on board in 2018 and working primarily with our residential installations. Dan picked up the trade quickly and came onboard full time in 2019. A master of many trades Dan is an asset to the team and always a pleasure for our clients to work with.


Lead Lighting Technician

Sean started on our team in 2015 working primarily with our residential installations. In 2017 Sean was promoted to a lead installer. Heading up our residential installations, Sean is extremely detail oriented and friendly. Sean also works with our team year round on events and permanent installations.


Accounts Receivable

 Danica began working with Delights of Christmas in 2018. Working solely in the office, Danica works primarily in accounting and billing.

We are located in San Diego and have years of experience in interior and outdoor Christmas light installation and design.
We’ll take care of all your holiday decorating needs, interior and outdoors; residential or commercial. We handle the entire process, from design and installation to care throughout the holiday season, and removal once the season is over.
